RedHotKeto Crispy Fried Fish!

One of our favorite food themes is pub grub, but it's tough to make low carb fish and chips that taste like the real thing. Until now! With a little recipe tweaking we have discovered a crispy fried fish recipe to hit all those pub grub points and then some.

One of the best things about this recipe is you can use the breading on anything you like. If you are vegan and want to whip up some buffalo cauliflower bites, this is a great option. If you have picky kids at home and want to eat dinner as a family, use this breading for low carb chicken nuggets with no added preservatives or sweeteners.

Making Red Hot Keto Low Carb Crispy Breaded Fish

This recipe coats 4 servings of fish. To whip up your own batch of crispy fish, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Crushed Pork Rinds

  • 3/4 Cup Almond Flour

  • 2 Tsp Paprika

  • 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper

  • 1 Tsp Salt

  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder

  • 2 Eggs

  • Fish (We used haddock)

Step 1: Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.

Step 2: In a separate bowl, beat eggs.

Step 3: Heat oil to 350F. (We used our wok, but you can use a pot, or an electric fryer. Be safe.)

Step 4: Take a piece of fish and dip it into your beaten eggs.

Step 5: Dredge the dipped fish in the dry mixture.

Step 6: Place coated fish in hot oil.

Step 7: Fry until golden and crispy. (For our haddock, this took approximately 4-minutes per piece. Timing will alter depending on your cooking method and how thick the fish is.)

Step 8: Enjoy!
